Spring break will be extended one week for students at the colleges of DCCCD. Classes will not be held March 16-29 as faculty and staff prepare to transition to working, teaching and learning remotely. Please visit
dcccd.edu/coronavirus for additional information.
The Summer Bridge College Prep is designed for students who require supplemental, accelerated instruction in
ESOL, Writing, and/or Reading to help with the successful transition into college-level courses. The program will also offer instruction in Math as well as college readiness.
This program is a joint effort between the World Languages, Cultures and Communications Department, Multicultural Center, Developmental Math Department, and the AANAPISI Grant Program. This is a preparation course for students who did not pass the TSI Assessment. It is free to students including the use of free textbooks. Normally students would need to complete ESOL Level 4 or Developmental Education courses at a cost in order to take college-level courses. The Summer Bridge College Prep is a free alternative and will prepare students to take college-level courses in the coming fall semester.
Next class will begin summer 2020. Contact us at
rlcAANAPISI@dcccd.edu if you have any questions.
