Upcoming Summer and Fall 2019 Registration Update

Returning student veterans and or dependents (VA benefit users) reusing benefits are encouraged to schedule appointments with Veteran Services (see link above) as soon as priority registration opens on Apr 23, 2019 to ensure timely benefit payment. New VA benefit users claiming VA benefits for the first time with Richland College Veteran Services are encouraged to schedule an appointment (see link above) as soon as regular registration opens on Apr 29, 2019 to ensure timely benefit payment.

Important note - Any VA benefit user who registers for the upcoming Fall 2019 term after July 12, 2019 places on-time receipt of their monthly housing stipend at risk when the Fall 2019 term begins. Veteran Services will continue to see and process students using VA benefits between July 15, 2019 and August 21, 2019. However, due to VA processing timelines, there is significant risk of students failing to receive on-time monthly stipend payments by September 30, 2019 for students processed during this later period. VA benefit users who delay registration until this timeframe should plan accordingly.
