Four Richland wrestlers brought hardware back from the National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA) Championships, which took place in March in Allen.
The NCWA is an association of 162 institutions and conferences that organize wrestling programs for colleges and universities.
Christina Ellis had the highest finish for Richland, as she finished in second place. Her 3.81 GPA also earned her recognition as an Academic All-American.
Elsewhere, Jessica Carbajal earned a third place, while Angela Buenrostro and Keauna Pass each earned a fourth-place finish.
As a team, the women finished in fourth place.
Jonathon Carranza, the lone male wrestler who qualified, fell short of All-American honors by just one match.
The field at the national championships included 500 male wrestlers and 80 male wrestlers.
