Spring 2020 classes have resumed online.
Please visit dcccd.edu/coronavirus for additional information and to learn how to prepare for online classes.

Due to COVID-19, all tutoring will take place remotely for the rest of the Spring semester.

Tutoring is available at all seven colleges of DCCCD. You can access the following tutoring services online:

  • Drop-in, one-on-one tutoring is available for many Core courses. These include English, math and science. Drop-in tutoring means you can just drop in, without an appointment. If you are working on a writing assignment, you can email it to a tutor for help.
  • Online tutoring by appointment for English and other writing assignments is an option if you are unable to drop in during posted times. Check the college information below to see whether your college offers it.
  • One-on-one tutoring is available to students who qualify for the TRIO program.
  • Scheduled workshops will be offered online.
  • Need help beyond tutoring? Our colleges provide support for building strong study skills, managing time effectively, reducing stress, etc. Your college's learning center or student resource center will have what you need.
  • Disability tutoring is offered through the Disability Services Office.

Online Tutoring Tips

To make the most of online tutoring, we recommend using Google Chrome and connecting a headset (earbuds and microphone) to your computer.

  1. Log in to eCampus [link to: ecampus.dcccd.edu].
  2. At the top of the eCampus website, click on the red Community tab.
  3. In your list of organizations, locate your college's tutoring community.
  4. From the list in My Organizations, click on the community name to enter the community.
    • Brookhaven: Brookhaven Tutoring
    • Cedar Valley
    • Eastfield: EFC Tutoring Service
    • El Centro: El Centro College Learning Center
    • Mountain View: MVC Tutoring Center
