Self Service Password Reset Enrollment

Self Service Password Reset helps keep your account more secure and will make sure you can reset your password and do not lose access to your account. This tutorial will show you how to complete the SSPR verification process and how to log in to any at such as outlook, Blackboard eCampus or OneDrive.

Let's take a look at some of the applications that are available to you: Outlook Blackboard, myPortal, OneDrive, PowerPoint, OneNote, Excel, Adobe Acrobat.

Let's get started by going to Myapps.dcccd.edu. For the username, use your seven-digit student ID number (preceded with an "e") @student.dcccd.edu and enter your password.

Click on your profile picture and select "Profile" and click on the setup of Self Service Password Reset link.

Now you are ready to setup your SSPR options. Let's start with the phone. Select your country or region from the drop-down box, enter your phone number, click "Text me" to receive your code from the phone. Enter the code and click verify.

Now let's set up your e-mail. Enter your e-mail address. Please don't use your primary work or school e-mail. Select e-mail me. Enter the code from your e-mail and click verify.

Now you are ready to set up your security questions. From the drop-down, select security question number one and enter your answer. From the drop-down, select security question number two and enter your answer. For security question three, select your question from the drop-down and then enter your answer. Notice as you are completing each question you are receiving a green check indicating that you have successfully completed that question. Security question number four, you'll select a question from the drop-down. Enter your answer. And for security question number five, you select a question and enter the answer. Click save answers and click finish.

Now you are ready to select an app to open now that you're in Blackboard. To log out of Blackboard: In the upper-righthand corner, select the logout button, then select "End SSO Session" and wait for the system to successfully sign you out of your account. Return to the apps page and sign out.
