Sheila Hyde began her hospitality career at age 15. Her more than 25 years of experience in the industry includes hotel and restaurant service and management, and both on-premise and off-premise catering.
She is active in the community through organizations like SkillsUSA, and is the USA WorldSkills Expert in restaurant services. She is also the District 5 director for SkillsUSA, and is on the Hospitality Educators Association board of directors. Sheila also volunteers for the GDRA ProStart program for high school students.
Sheila holds a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma City University and a master's degree in education from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She was previously the hospitality instructor at Allen High School.
