Marti Fox worked in the travel industry in Salt Lake City for the first nine years of her career before moving to the Dallas-Fort Worth area in the late 1980s. Her first job in the profession was as a corporate travel agent, after which she migrated to the more complex travel incentive reward market, planning for and traveling the world with groups of up to 800 participants. She started her own company, GlobalGoals, Inc., in 2002 as a meeting and incentive resource for corporations across Texas and worldwide, and today 60 percent of her business involves planning meetings, training sessions and small conferences.

She has been involved with the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of Independent Meeting Professionals as an instructor for designation of Certified Meeting Professional for the D/FW chapter of Meeting Professionals International. She teaches applied industry online software and international meeting management.
