Chuck Laterza began teaching at Richland College in fall 1994, the first semester the TEMM program was offered for college credit; he also worked as a part-time administrator until spring 1997. Previous teaching experience included Tiffin University, the International Aviation and Travel Academy and American Airlines Travel Academy. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo, Ohio.
He earned the certified travel counselor (CTC) designation in 1996 and became a certified meeting planner (CMP) in 1997. He has been employed full time by American Airlines since the late 1990s. At Richland, he teaches applied industry online software and introduction to convention/meeting management.
