An alumna of the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, Angela is the national sales director for ClubCorp. She worked for 19 years in the hospitality industry in Las Vegas and began teaching Introduction to Hospitality and Front Office Procedures at Richland in Fall 2013.
Her experience spanning many years includes hotel operations, special events, catering and event fund-raising. She served as president of the Las Vegas chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES) and as a committee member of the DFW Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (MPI). She was awarded the 2010 Event Professional of the Year award from the Las Vegas chapter of the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE); was the 2013 Spirit Award winner from the DFW chapter of MPI; and was a finalist for both Volunteer of the Year and Rising Star Award from the DFW chapter of MPI.
Angela holds designations as a certified meeting professional and certified special event professional. In 2010, she received the designation of certified hospitality educator (CHE) from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute.
