Richland's large international student population lends to the unique language-learning environment fostered for many years by the award-winning school and its dedicated & passionate instructors. Long recognized as a leading institution for language acquisition, Richland boasts a state-of-the-art laboratory, college library, and computer stations. Language training at Richland is interactive with a variety of audio and video reinforcement, which promotes immediate language acquisition. Richland instructors are noted for their language expertise, business background, passion for teaching and dedication to helping students achieve communicative proficiency in the language.
In our rapidly expanding world society, many students coming from, or preparing for entry into, business and industry need to obtain the oral, written, and cultural skills necessary to communicate with the diverse clientele of the global workplace. The ability to communicate in foreign boardrooms, foreign factories, and global industries often requires practical application of language skills and cultural sensitivity. Conversely, the ability to speak and understand the languages of newly arrived immigrants entering local industries, computer plants, hospitals, governmental agencies, and elementary and secondary schools also requires language application skills.
