Drama

Beyond developing artistic skills, theatre helps students to refine skills in collaboration, critical-thinking, creative problem-solving and effective communication. Drama classes at colleges of DCCCD may include introduction to theatre, stage movement, stagecraft, makeup, costumes, acting, voice for the theatre, theatre history and introduction to cinema.

Drama courses are listed under the four-letter rubric (course prefix) DRAM. Note: Drama is the official rubric name, although individual colleges may list courses as Theater or Theatre.

Taking drama classes at Richland College is an affordable way to get started on a path to a brighter future. Whether you’re taking classes to transfer to a four-year college or university, or for personal enrichment, our drama curriculum will give you the foundational skills you need.
