Language Skills

Continuing Education provides many options to quickly learn a language. Whether for work or leisure, classes are offered in a wide variety of languages such as:

  • Arabic
  • Chinese
  • English
  • Farsi
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Spanish

If English is your second language, you can also improve your English skills through our ESL program.

The languages taught vary by semester and college. Check out our class schedules to see the language courses offered now at all of the colleges of DCCCD.

Classes are offered on campus, online or through other distance education media, and can also be customized and taught at work as a service of contract training. They can focus specifically on conversational skills or include reading and writing.

All Continuing Education language classes offer a fast, fun and cost-effective way to improve your communications skills.
