We invite you to attend the Citizens' Climate Lobby – Climate Advocate Training Workshop on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 1–4 p.m., at Mountain View College in Room B149. Please register if you will be attending.
The CCL process is nonpartisan and based on appreciation, gratitude and respect. The purpose of the workshop is to teach attendees how to create the political will for climate solutions through engagement with their local, state and federal governments.
The purpose of the training is three-fold:

The Citizen's Climate Lobby (CCL) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that uses citizen engagement to bring about positive legislative change in state and national legislatures. In 2017, they were the catalyst for 1,653 lobby meetings, 72,721 letters to Congress, 4093 published media articles and 3,247 outreach events.
