Mission Statement
The mission of the Writing Center is to offer a collaborative environment that empowers students as independent thinkers and writers across a myriad of disciplines and genres. This undertaking reflects the Center for Tutoring and Learning Connections larger mission to bridge the path to student success by emphasizing the connections between classroom success, community involvement and goal achievement.
Staff
The Writing Center staff consists of knowledgeable professionals in the fields of literature, linguistics, ESOL, rhetoric, and grammar. Many of our tutors also teach Developmental Writing, ESOL, and English courses at Richland College.
