Mission Statement
TRIO's Student Support Services (S.S.S.) program, provides a variety of academic support services to program participants to enable them to persist in college and to achieve their educational and career goals. These free services include academic advisement, tutoring, assistance in financial aid application, campus referrals, and cultural enrichment opportunities.
How can I qualify?
For students to be eligible for S.S.S. services they must be enrolled at Richland College and meet one of the following eligibility requirements:
- First generation student - neither parent has a Bachelor's degree OR
- Meet federal income guidelines as established by the U.S. Department of Education OR
- Be physically challenged or learning disabled

S.S.S. offers a variety of free support services including:
- Academic Advising

- Cultural Events - World Aquarium, Medieval Times, West End, Symphony
- Career Exploration & Planning
