Because our chapter is organized into a team system, we are asking that each member to find an opportunity to participate in our organization through one or several of our teams. We have four teams within our chapter, each outlined below. If you find one (or two, or three...) that interests you, contact advisor, Jon Ewing.
Leadership Team: The Leadership Committee primarily plans, coordinates, organizes and determines the direction of the chapter. Our Leadership Team consists of the most dedicated and eager members in our chapter. This team plans, coordinates, organizes and determines which direction the chapter works toward. Each team leader participates in the Leadership Team. In addition, this team handles all fundraising and paperwork.
Scholarship Team: The Scholarship Team conducts activities designed to explore and enhance our understanding of the current year's Phi Theta Kappa Honor's Study Topic. The Scholarship Team conducts activities designed to explore and enhance our understanding of this year's Honor's Study Topic, "Customs, Traditions and Celebrations: The Human Drive for Community." This team endeavors to expand the minds of our membership.
Fellowship Team: The Fellowship Team shares the responsibility of ensuring chapter unity through various fellowship activities. In addition, the fellowship team acts as the communication system for chapter correspondence and notification (i.e., e-mail, telephoning and newsletters).
Service Team: The Service Team plans and conducts service-oriented projects which benefit both our college and communities and which support Phi Theta Kappa's current International Service Project.
