O.A.R. Student Registration

Due to Texas state regulations regarding the bacterial meningitis vaccine, you must have received your vaccination by Saturday, January 7, 2012 in order to register for full length semester courses that begin January 17th.
If you receive your meningitis vaccination after Saturday, January 7, 2012, you will need to register for an OAR session through the Advising Center and will be placed in classes that start later in the semester. To reserve a spot in one of these OAR sessions, please contact the Advising Center at 972.238.3767.

Before you register for an OAR session through this website, please make sure you have:

  • taken the Accuplacer Tests or turned in appropriate SAT/TAKS scores to the Admissions Office and
  • received your meningitis shot on or prior to Saturday, January 7, 2012. (Documentation needs to be turned in to the Admissions Office PRIOR to attending an OAR session).

No more regular O.A.R. sessions are available at this time. New students registering after Friday, 1/13/12, will be required to attend an abbreviated 2-hour OAR session. Registration for the abbreviated OAR sessions must be done through the Academic Advising Office located in Thunderduck Hall T-180. Questions??? Please contact 972-238-3767.
