Refund Card Activation Instructions

1. Once you receive the Higher One Refund Card, log on to their website address located on the DCCCD Money Card and enter the 16 digit card number with the secret activation word to select how refunds will be issued.
2. Once you are logged in, there are two (2) options given to specifically receive all future refunds.
1. First choice is, “Yes, I would like an easy refund.”  This choice will automatically activate the Higher One Card and all future refunds will be sent this way.  As with any bank account, fees will be charged. (Please read fee details on the website to make an informed choice)
2. Second choice is, “Show me all choices.”  This choice will list all available refund options.
3. If you don’t remember the secret/activation word, return to eConnect and reset the secret word on-line. Once this has been done, at least a four digit pass word will work
4. However, if the DCCCD Money Card is lost or does not arrive in the mail, please contact Higher One at 1-877-211-2694 to request for a new card to be mailed to you. The Higher One 16 digit card number will always be required to access your account information no matter what type of refund disbursement.
