Books for ESOL Students

The librarians put together a notebook with lists of books for ESOL students. These lists include fiction, non-fiction, biographies, academic skills, and other areas. You may ask for this notebook at the reference desk when you need help picking a book. Most of the pages from the notebook are available as PDF's below.

In the library catalog, ESOL students can locate books to read using the subject search for "Readers for New Literates." For controversial issues, the Hot Issues Series is recommended. These books may also be located using a title search for "Hot Issues."
