Holds on Books

If you need a book from 1) another campus or one 2) from Richland that is checked out, you can request a "hold" through the “REQUEST” button in the Online catalog.

1) Getting a book from another campus and having it delivered at Richland's library is called "an Inter-campus Loan" (ICL). This "REQUEST" process takes approximately 3 days when a book is coming to us from another campus. We will call you when the book comes in, and you can come to the Circulation Desk to get it.

2) If you are wanting to be next person to get a Richland book that is currently checked out, you will be notified when it is returned by the current user, and you can come to the library to check it out. Wait times will varry.
