The license agreements for most of the Library's electronic resources allow remote (off campus) access only to members of the Dallas County Community College community; that is, primarily to currently enrolled D.C.C.C.D students, faculty and staff. Students include both credit and Continuing Ed students (but they must be currently enrolled when the resources are needed. Alumni cards are available for a fee.
This means that if you wish to use these resources when you are away from campus, you must authenticate on the campus network using your Student / Employee ID.
Most of the pages on this web site are available to you with no special entry requirement. The moment you do attempt to use one of our databases (mostly found on our Choose a Database page), you'll encounter a screen that looks like the one below:

Please note that your name must appear exactly as it does in the registrar's office.
