How to Cite Periodicals
Periodicals include newspapers, magazines, and journals.

Information you will need about the periodical:
- Author's name of article
(if given) - Date of publication

- Title of article

- Title of the journal, magazine
, or newspaper
(italicized) - Volume and issue number for magazines and journals

- Page numbers of article and newspapers

- If your online article is based on a print publication enter [Electronic version]
after the title - If the online article is different from the print publication add the date retrieved and the URL

- If your article is from an online library database
, you must also provide the date retrieved and the name of the database
