Students may come in for Placement Exams in Spanish, French, German, and Arabic.
World Language Lab Survey
Please assist us to serve you better by completing this survey.The World Language Labs at Richland College are unique places. The labs combine video, audio, and computer technology to help the student supplement their foreign language study.
To use the language lab, students should be enrolled in a foreign or ESOL language class. They must sign in and out of the lab. Students may use any of the following:
Videos: Help in comprehension skills and develops cultural awareness.
Audio: Cassette tapes correspond to material covered in the book of each foreign language class.
Computer Software: Grammar drills directly or indirectly relate to the course.
Tape rental: Audiocassettes for some foreign language courses may be rented at the telecourse center in B217
Tutoring: There is one-on-one foreign language tutoring available free of charge.

Foreign Film Series: The World Language Lab will be showing a foreign film every Thursday throughout the semester from 12:30PM to 2:30PM. We warmly invite students, faculty and staff to these great foreign films that will entertain, educate and inspire your conversation, imagination and encourage contemplation.
