Twitter is what is called a "micro blog". Simply put, it's a service that allows for short messages (such as registration reminders) to be posted to the site very quickly, and in return you get notified in a timely manner.

So How Do I Sign Up?

I thought you might ask that... Just follow these 3 quick steps.

  1. Go to Twitter.com and look for the "Get Started-Join " link towards the bottom of the site
  2. Fill in the necessary information and click "I accept"
  3. Done:)

How Do I Add Richland As a Friend?

  1. Login to your account
  2. At the top, click "Find & Invite"
  3. In the search box at the bottom, copy and paste this "richlandcollege" (without quotes) and hit "search"
  4. Click the "follow" button

*Optional - If you want to be notified on your phone, make sure when you see the "notifications" option, click the Yes radio button. WARNING - standard text messaging charges will apply

How Do I Get Phone Notifications?

  1. Login to your account
  2. On the right hand side, look for the "Notifications" section
  3. Check "phone"
  4. This option is now automatically applied, no need to hit any more buttons:)
