Richland College Corporate Services strives to provide the most needed and mission-critical training to our clients. If we do not have the expertise "in our suitcase" then we work closely with our client companies to locate that talent and partner with them to provide the desired training.
In 2009, Richland College entered into a partnership with the Texas Manufacturing Assistance Center (TMAC). Through this partnership, their manufacturing specialists deliver hands-on training and technical assistance that improve efficiency, quality and productivity. Focus areas include lean enterprise, technology solutions, strategic management, quality systems, environment and safety.
In 2009, Richland College also began partnering with APICS North Texas Chapter to provide training for APICS courses: Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
We have worked with FANUC CNC AMERICA to provide maintenance and programming courses on their equipment to update the skills of the Garland manufacturing workforce. Rockwell Automation has partnered with Richland College to provide fundamental and troubleshooting courses on programmable logic controllers. Corporate Services staff has also developed relationships with other resources to provide Ammonia Safety training and Analytical Troubleshooting.
