Garland Campus

The Richland College Garland Campus is a DCCCD award winning community campus focused on workforce training and development. Training is provided for individuals who are entering the workforce for the first time and for those currently employed who want to enhance their skill sets.

The Medical Office Specialist One program prepares individuals between the ages of 17 and 21 for an office career in the fast growing healthcare field. This extensive 356-hour program trains students in medical terminology, human disease, HIPPA guidelines, CPR, coding, billing, and medical software.

In response to a need voiced by the Dallas County Manufacturers’ Association for skilled technicians, Richland College created the Machine Operator program. The program includes training in blue print reading, OSHA, precision measuring tools, lathe and mill operations as well as a two week internship.

Richland College Corporate Services offers professional consulting, customized training, flexible scheduling, affordably priced options to companies and organizations in the community.
