Richland College, in partnership with the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District (HEB ISD) and the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth, is selected as a recipient of the Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Programs. The goal of the project is to expand, strengthen, and link international education and Global Studies programs at elementary and secondary schools and community colleges in north Texas focusing on the influence of India's history, culture, and economic development efforts on the country's work to achieve five of the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) that articulate most closely with educational organizations' missions. A total of 17 educators will participate in the program titled "Exploring India's Experience with Selected UN Millennium Development Goals."
