Financial Aid

Loans

TG Loans By WebLoans, unlike grants or work-study, are borrowed money that must be repaid, with interest. These are real loans - just like car loans or mortgages. You cannot have these loans cancelled because you didn't like the education you received or because you are having financial difficulty. These loans are a serious obligation, so think about the amount you'll have to repay over the years before you take out a loan.

Richland College participates in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) referred to as FFELP Stafford/FFELP PLUS Loans or Federal Stafford/Federal PLUS Loans. In the FFELP, the lender is a bank, credit union, or other participating private lender.

Loan Counseling - In order to apply for a loan your Financial Aid file must be complete. Once this has been done, you must attend an Entrance Loan Counseling session prior to completing the loan application.
