Did you know that over half of the nation’s currency is produced and printed in Fort Worth Texas? That’s where we are heading!
Morning: See billions of dollars printed at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing Tour and Visitor Center which is free! However, NO FREE SAMPLES! You will have the opportunity to walk through two floors of interactive exhibits, view the theater movie, take a free guided tour on the elevated tour walkway and purchase uncut currency and souvenir items in the Moneyfactory Gift Shop.
Afternoon: We’ll travel to downtown for lunch on your own. Then, tour the Kimbell Art Museum which is the only U.S. venue to host 70 impressionist Masterpieces. The superb collection of French Impressionist painting from the Clark Art Institute in Massachusetts features a remarkable group of works by Renoir as well as Monet and others whom you will recognize.
The $28 fee will cover cost of the transportation only. Special Tuesday entrance fee for the Kimbell is $6.00. No cancellations may be accepted nor refunds made after May 25. The bus departs at 8:00 a.m. from parking lot D.
