Important Financial Aid Information
Students enrolling in Distance Learning course need to ensure they are applying for financial aid at the campus they are attending their “home” campus. How do you tell which is your “home” campus? When you register for a course using eConnect the courses will be divided by section numbers. For example: ENGL 1301 8423. The 8 in the second set of numbers is the “home” campus. The following is a list to help you know what campus you are attending:
- 8… = Richland College
- 2… = Brookhaven College
- 3… = Cedar Valley College
- 4… = Eastfield College
- 5… = El Centro College
- 6… = Mountainview College
- 7… = Northlake College
- 9… = Dallas TeleCollege
When submitting documents to your campus, please request the Financial Aid staff to review your enrollment to ensure you are submitting your documents to the correct "home" campus. Also, if you have classes at more than one college, you need to apply for Financial Aid where the majority of your classes are held.
