Developmental Writing 0091 (DWRI 0091)

You should enroll in Writing 0091 if:

  • Your placement scores indicate this is the appropriate course, or you have completed DWRI 0090 with a grade of "C" or higher.
  • You demonstrate some degree of proficiency with basic sentence structure and paragraph development.
  • You have difficulty organizing and developing an essay for an academic audience.

Course Description:

Students taking this course learn to use the writing process to develop short to medium length essays. The focus is on paragraph- and essay-level revision and applying the writing process in a variety of academic contexts. A learning lab is available to provide additional assistance. (3 Lec.)
