Preparation for College Reading, TSI & THEA
You should enroll in DREA 0093 if:
- Your placement scores indicate this is the appropriate course.
- You have a basic understanding of fundamental reading comprehension and study skills.
- You demonstrate some degree of proficiency with critical reading/thinking skills, but could benefit from a review.
Prerequisite:
DREA 0093 is for students who have completed DREA 0091 or who have appropriate assessment test scores.
Course Description:
This course is designed for students who have a basic understanding of fundamental reading comprehension skills. The focus is on improvement of critical reading/thinking skills, vocabulary skills, and study skills necessary for success in college and life. In addition, students practice reading skills using software in the computer lab.
