Developmental Math 0098 (DMAT 0098)

You should enroll in DMAT 0098 if:

  • Your placement scores indicate this is the appropriate course.
  • You have completed DMAT 0097 with a "C" or higher.
  • You have a sound understanding of first year algebra concepts, but not second year algebra.

Course Description:

DMAT 0098 is a second course in algebra that covers the topics of rational expressions and advanced factoring. Additional topics include solving inequalities, quadratic equations, and absolute value equations and inequalities. A learning lab is available to provide additional assistance. (3 Lec.)
