Counseling is a process of reframing, renewal, and transformation. I believe that we are in control of our thoughts, actions, and the beliefs that we attribute to those events. With this in mind, I employ the counseling methodology of REBT/CBT; in short, I believe that we must dispute and dispel those negative thoughts and our perceptions that we may have about ourselves, or that others attribute to us based upon their perception of us. We can only control ourselves, not other people. I enjoy working with all clients who face and have experienced negative life events (i.e.: all forms of sexual, emotional or physical trauma, death, divorce, and/or incarceration). If you are in the healing process or are conflicted about any decision that you may face, then please stop by the Lakeside Resource Center. Transformation of self, reframing one’s thinking, and renewal of one’s spirit is most important for wholeness.

"Take all the time you need to heal emotionally. Moving on doesn’t take a day; it takes lots of little steps to be able to break free of your broken self." ~Anonymous
