The Business of Wedding Planning: TRVM 1091
This course provides an overview of how to plan a wedding. Whether your goal is to become a wedding planner or to be better informed consumer, this course will give you the skills to be successful. The course focuses on preparation, the ceremony and the reception. It covers types of ceremonies, wedding etiquette, how to develop timelines and budgets; how to find and select vendors; how to create a memorable reception and much more. Course includes a wedding template.
Wedding Etiquette & Protocol: TRVM 1091
Once the couple says "yes" the real work begins. Even the most basic wedding can be expensive and stressful. This class will take the mystery out of weddings and provide the couple with the knowledge to keep expenses down and have the wedding of their dreams. The course will focus on how to plan and execute a wedding on a budget; how to manage the wedding day with a day of or an on-site coordinator; how to pick vendors and manage expectations; and how to read a contract and negotiate pricing.
Managing Wedding Vendors: TRVM 1091
Today's weddings have so many different components that it is hard to keep track of all the vendors that it takes to create the perfect day. This course is designed to help the wedding planner or bride select the right vendor from the florist to the caterer and everything in between including disc jockey, cake design, dress, lighting, entertainment, transportation, photography etc. The course will cover how to understand vendor contracts and wedding lingo.
