Personal Trainer Certification

Overview
This challenging course is taught over a 5-week period for better retention and skill competency. Fifteen hours of “handson” practical training prepares you to actually work with clients one-on-one.
A study of the aspects of one-on-one training including marketing, program development, legal aspects, documentation, training methodologies, and business considerations. Emphasis on the development of safe and enjoyable individualized training sessions. Required text must be purchased through WITS at 888-330-9487.
The National Exam will be administered the sixth week of class following successful completion of the course.
To become certified, a student must:
- Take Personal Trainer Certification
- Complete a 30 hour internship
- Miss only one class or less
- Current: CPR and AED
