Course Description:
Ethical considerations based on Code of Ethics for Licensed Professional Counselors. Comparison of Codes of Ethics, confidentiality, dual relationships, guidelines for web counseling, ethical considerations dealing with broadcast media, and diversity and multicultural. Compare and contrast Codes of Ethics of all Licensed Professionals; demonstrate sensitivity towards clients; explain meaning of dual relationships, both sexual and nonsexual; and demonstrate knowledge of recommended guidelines for health care professionals.
