Career Overview
Healthcare Programmers work in the development and maintenance of healthcare related software systems. Programmers have the knowledge of programming architectures and languages, an understanding of healthcare ethics and privacy, operations in a healthcare environment, and the ability to communicate healthcare and technical information in a clear and concise manner.
Length & Cost of Training
This 312-hour program prepares the student with the skills needed to successfully work in a medical office, pharmacy, hospital, or other clinical setting. Students can expect to complete the program in approximately two semesters by attending day, evening or online classes on a full-time basis or within one year on a part-time basis. The tuition cost is $2,223, not including books.
