Overview

The Workforce Training Center (WTC) offers fast-track, training programs that will equip participants with skills sets that employers demand. WTC programs utilize a holistic case management approach and provide client-targeted job placement.

Training is provided utilizing state-of-the-art computer facilities located at Richland College Garland Campus. WTC offers job placement utilizing experienced Career Case Managers and the College Career Center.

Funding

For qualified participants, scholarships for tuition and books in the form of Individual Training Accounts (ITA's), are available through Worksource of Dallas County One-stop Career Centers. Qualified participants may be additionally eligible for child-care and transportation assistance.

Current Programs:

*Funding for this program is provided by the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and dispersed by the Dallas County Local Workforce Development Board and the U.S. Department of Labor. WIA is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Program and auxiliary aids and services are available upon request.

Campus Information

Depending on the program, WTC classes are held on either the Richland College main campus or the Garland campus.
