Press Releases

Press releases are notices sent to the media (print, TV and radio) about upcoming events or interesting story ideas. College Communications & Marketing develops and sends all Richland press releases to ensure consistency and effectiveness. Richland's releases are written in the format preferred by the media, Associated Press style.

Depending on the scale of the event of story, it may take weeks to craft a press release or put together a media kit. Press releases need to be submitted to us at least three weeks before your event.
