Community Service
Students are required to applied their leadership skills through volunteerism and service learning in local organizations.
The objective is that students can:
- Learn about non-profit organizations and their role in meeting societal needs.
- Apply learned skills in volunteer settings.
- Build a sense of personal empowerment.
- Build a sense of social responsibility/respect for others.
- Learn how to conduct a community needs assessment in order to prioritize initiatives.
