Egypt in World Affairs

Walid Basal's Testimonial

In the beginning, I want to thank CCID for giving me the chance to study in the United States of America because it’s a dream for any young man to study in America because it opens a lot of career opportunities.

While being here in the US I got to know the American culture up close and it was very different from what I –and people from the middle east – thought it would be.

As for my college, I love it very much because through it I met new friends from all over the world. I learned a lot about their different cultures and I shared my culture with them. I also loved the high level of education and the great and amazing teachers I had.

And last but not least my mentor family, without them I don’t know what I would have done. They helped us a lot and were with us every step of the way. They made me feel like I haven’t left my own family back in Egypt. They were with us in every special occasion whether it was ours or theirs. I would like to thank them very much for their support and love.
