Student ID Information

Student ID's are made in E040, the Office of Student Life.

All credit students at Richland College are required to have a student photo ID card. New students will receive an ID free of charge. Returning students must have their ID from the previous semester validated with a sticker for the current semester. Validation stickers are available at the cashiers window in Thunderduck Hall and in E040, the Office of Student Life.

A student photo ID will be replaced at no charge to the student if the student has had the ID for two years or longer. If the ID has been lost or destroyed there is a replacement fee of $10.00. If the ID is stolen, a copy of the original police report is required.

The required documentation needed to obtain a photo ID is a Registration Summary Paid Receipt. This is the print out that each student receives once they have paid their tuition at the cashiers window. The receipt must show that the student's class and/or classes are paid. The ID clerk will not issue the student an ID without it.

Please be advised that the student must be enrolled in paid CREDIT classes in order to receive an ID. All non-credit (i.e. Continuing Education) students are ineligible to receive a photo ID.

  • If you are registered in both Credit and Continuing Education courses you are eligible to receive a photo ID
  • If you are under a Payment Plan Set-up you are eligible to receive a photo ID.
  • If you are in a Health Professions Program that requires a photo ID for clinical
purposes you are eligible to receive a photo ID.
