Who is eligible? Requirements

Applicant must be of Hispanic heritage
Must reside in the US. Legal status not required, and can apply regardless of US citizenship status
Must value tolerance, compassion, ethics, and respect for others
Demonstrate commitment to these values in a 500 word essay
Scholarship may be used for any general educational expenses and may be renewed upon a successful re-application process
Applicant must be a continuing DCCCD student
No minimum GPA required initially, but will be taken into account for reapplication.
Maintain good academic standing
Personal interview
2-4/10-15 hours required per semester, volunteering for RLC activities
