This program is the most flexible as it can be applied to any degree. It is designed for students who wish to enhance their professional marketability without pursuing an ethnic studies degree. These course offerings are part of the core curriculum and may be taken to satisfy basic requirements in all degree plans. The program consists of 27 hours in courses with emphasis in African American/Black Studies, plus 15 hours in service learning within the African American community.
All Courses must be selected from specific sections designated as African American/Black Studies (AABS).
